Special Education Program

The WPS special education program is a comprehensive and inclusive initiative designed to support students with diverse learning needs and abilities. It operates within a district-wide framework, providing individualized educational plans, accommodations, and specialized instruction to ensure every student receives a high-quality education. The program fosters an environment that promotes inclusivity, empowers students, and encourages their personal and academic growth. Highly trained special education teachers collaborate with general education staff, specialists, and families to develop tailored strategies and interventions, fostering a supportive community that values and respects the unique abilities of each student. Through a combination of targeted assessments, evidence-based practices, and ongoing monitoring, the special education program strives to optimize student outcomes, enabling them to reach their full potential and succeed in both academic and social settings.
