Dear Boyden Families,
In celebration of Black History Month, Boyden welcomed author Ari Ada to Boyden to share her books and amazing stories. This was far more than an author visit, the sessions were highly interactive and featured geography lessons, cultural dancing, and interactions with authentic artifacts. Ask your children about it!
This program was supported by a grant from the Walpole Local Cultural Council, a local agency of the Massachusetts Cultural Council. Also, Boyden PAC collaborated with Be Inclusive Walpole's Multicultural Books Initiative to share Ada Ari's stories with the entire Walpole community. Copies of her book "The Child's Courage" were donated to each elementary school library, as well as our Walpole Town Public Library
